WARNING: This video contains graphic depictions of gay male sex for educational purposes.
Gay Men's Guide To Safer Sex is safer sex educational documentary primarily aimed at bisexual and gay men to inform them how to better prevent contracting sexually transmitted diseases from each other, primarily HIV/AIDS. It was produced in 1992 by Mike Esser and Tony Carne of Pride Video in association with the Terrence Higgins Trust (the first British charity to campaign on and provide services relating to HIV and sexual health), with medical information presented by Mike Youle, a British doctor specializing in HIV treatment.
The film was controversial upon release, being the first explicitly gay video available on street shops, especially in the historical context of post-Thatcher England. Many conservative organizations condemned and attempted to ban it, despite its educational intention and nature.
Coil provided the soundtrack for this documentary, having been familiar with the Terrence Higgins Trust for many years, as their 1985 music video for "Tainted Love" was the first commercial music video whose proceeds went exclusively to an HIV/AIDS prevention organization (i.e. to Terrence Higgins Trust).
Gay Men's Guide To Safer Sex was exclusively a VHS release and to my knowledge has never been reissued, having long since gone out of print. I have heard even the master tapes are lost. So, I am uploading this VHS rip here for educational and historical purposes.

How to use for short film?
Hello
We would like to use a part of the film in a short movie, (the announcement for Gay Men audience only), with whom can we talk about it?
